Theories may vary about whether you can choose your family or not, but I'd like to honor this post by sharing mine. I have a wide range of talented, funny, intelligent, beautiful, kind, hardworking, sometimes mean, sometimes cocky, sometimes unfair, and sometimes impatient people. Getting back to the roots is another great adventure for me. I'm grateful, and I feel extremely fortunate, to still be here dreaming and breathing.
Won't everyone fit my squad but that's all right. I wish them all the best. I'm different, and I stand alone sometimes, yet I feel the happiest. Staying open-minded is highly important for me. You can come and speak to me, anytime. You can ask me your questions, and you are going to get real answers. An open book, as I've always been.
Family can mean blood-related or friends who are that close. My favorite is when they are both of the same blood and the relationship is friendly (or even deeper). I enjoy encouraging my family squad to share their visions with me. I love learning new things. I like to join their dreams, goals, and plans. I also have mine to show.
I have changed a lot in the past years, and part of my family couldn't put up with that. It's all right, I won't force anybody to accept me. I believe we all have our own paths no one can interfere with. God has a plan. Yet, I'm curious about what comes next and who is going to stand by me. I'm a rebel with a cause, just like my father was.
your soul dynamite,
Kata The Nomad, Screenwriter & Photographer
