Yes, I'm that person who goes into a forest and pets the deer. I feel deeply connected to Mother Nature and the animals, trees, flowers, and lakes/waterfalls/rivers inside of it. I even get spiritual in a sense. It has happened before that I picked up strays from the side of the road or helped with my bare hands to save a tree. I enjoy spending time in nature and often find myself lost in thought while walking through it. I'm naturally in tune with animals and jump into action to ease an animal's pain. Not ashamed that I'm affected by natural beauty: blooming flowers (as you can see on both my @katathenomad or @katathewriter Instagram pages), trees swaying in the wind, sunlight reflecting off the water (especially a lake).
Hearing about any kind of destruction of Mother Nature finds me in conflict. Having a soft heart for nature and animals is not good life insurance if you ask me. Depression comes near when the natural world suffers from human impact. I can't be patient when it comes to those who act carelessly. Saving the environment is not an option, it is a must. A duty - Call of Duty - if you want. It begins with you, then your local government. The biggest aid to this planet Earth comes from your own community. I take my hats off to those who stand up and do anything. Turning passion into action is what I admire the most.
I'm a private person also who feels more at home with nature than with humans. Yet, I got the talent from God that I can build bridges between groups, so I can't relocate to the Himalayas. (Which I often dreamed about.) I'm still figuring out what to do with the time left.
your soul friend,
