Thursday it is and I have so much to write to you! It's been all super duper crazy and busy, I've been doing so many stuff and thangs /Rick Grimes/. Reading the news is not always the healthiest choice but when a real-time war is going on next door, that is when you must.
To ease the burden: Backstreet Boys are back on tour! I mean, one has to know about that. I still remember the early teenage years when we had our dancing sessions for some of their songs. The lyrics were just too catchy not to learn, whether you liked it or not. Tell me about it! Bloody human nature. Better give me my dose of 'After Life'! Second favorite show of all time. Hands down. /No, not that down./ Always kinda enjoyed Ricky Gervais' humor /telling the truth about celebrities and everything in a hilariously raw way/ but this show is something even more. The cast and crew deserve standing applause. They are all amazing. One can relate to their simple needs and problems. There are moments when I can feel the acting stops and something real comes out of each of them. I love Anne/Dame Penelope Wilton (also Isobel Crawley in Downton Abbey), adore Daphne/Roisin Conaty, absolutely freaked out from Brian/David Earl, hate the psychiatrist/Paul Kaye, cheer for Kath/Diane Morgan, laugh my head off on that postman/Joe Wilkinson, etc. the list is long, my darlings! First-class entertainment and honestly, just human.
Easter is knocking on the door. I was wondering the other day, do most people celebrate Easter because of the religious means or the yummy food and family gathering? Feel free to answer this in the comment section below! /Which no one has ever done before, so if you like the firsts, be my bloody guest, pretty please!/
Survivor (which I thought I am in every way) is a funny thought to enter. I'd be like 'Wait, wait, wait! I have to eat my morning bun with my decaf coffee! The surest thing is then I can jump off that cliff. I can die? Oh, so there is no safety net? Never mind, I've always been lucky. Just give me a second to call my Mom, all right?'
We are all happy that JLo took Ben Affleck under her wings again. Don't know what any woman can see in that lad but hey, no more fake romance news to take the space on the media. One can be at least grateful for that. /Hope you read the irony in it./
Stay true to who you are, and don't stress over the little minds!
your soul friend,
Kata The Nomad
