I have to write again about what is going on in the neighborhood. Ukraine is our neighbor and we are helping as much as we can. The whole world is in shock still about the fact of this war happening in the now. I've never thought I'm going to live in an era of war. It's real and it's near. We are worried and angry, yet I believe we are all ready to help peace win this war. I stand by the peace-makers.
This material world is full of aggression, full of selfish desires and needs, full of violence, full of careless behavior. I'm so tired to witness the greedy moves. Politicians, governments - they are all the same. At first, they promise everything like big changes for the better then they win and transform into just like the previous ones. Is Putin a good leader? Is Zelenszkij a good leader? Who can answer that? What do the people of Russia or Ukraine know about their leaders?
Hungary is near the fire. We want to know if we are in danger too. Can NATO protect us from Russia/Moscow/Putin? Does it even have to? Or we are too little to attack and too good as a companion/ally? One thing is for sure - we are of no use for Russia from a geo-strategical point of view. Our history has a bloody record: 1849, 1944-1945, 1956. Google it if you don't know but Russians killed our revolutions.
Our community is in close contact with Mariupol and the news is truly devastating. Women and children are in great danger. We all welcome them and try our very best to be of useful assistance.
