Movies, movies, and more movies. I got the accusation a lot of watching too many films then I told the judge and jury what is my profession, so they remain silent. Time flies anyway, you can't get it back. Those hours spent wondering what your life could have been - are gone. But if you used the lessons well - still gone but with a strengthen pill. I want to see it this way - movies have a purpose whether it's just to entertain or to teach and get the unheard voices louder. It is a powerful medium whether you like it or not - it's a fact.
The Ice Road - one of my newest favorite movies. I knew the style looked/sounded familiar! It is a work of thrilling art by Jonathan Hensleigh! Yup, the man is responsible for many of my oldtimer favorites like JUMANJI, The Punisher, Armageddon, The Saint, Con Air, Gone in 60 Seconds! Thank God for the action/adventure genre! We were born with it, as simple as that. My kind of Laurence plays also in it but he is a Fishburne, not an Olivier. Good old Liam Neeson acts the way he does best - as a protector of justice /and a brother/. I officially recommend you to watch it! Perfect to forget this whole pandemic crap! Thank you all cast and crew!
What is that HBC? My dear adored and brilliantly genius Helena Bonham Carter! Not afraid to say I love this lady. The way she acts is beyond words. Of course, as a natural-born writer, I have to try to describe how the roles come alive under her spell. Helena, my darling, if you ever get to read this /or anything from me/ I am more than ready to write a movie or a play for you. Sweet Lady Jane, Lucy Honeychurch, Kate Croy, bloody Marla Singer (!) & Emily the Corpse Bride (!), Bellatrix Lestrange, Queen Elizabeth, Red Queen, Mrs.Lovett, Edith New, Mrs.Potter (!), Eleanor Riese, Ophelia, Miss Havisham, Elizabeth Taylor, just a few that came right up in my mind.
Have your mind at ease and keep your laughter warm!
your ever cheerful soul,
Kata
