Decaf and The Black Phone

Never thought 'decaf' is going to join my dictionary. As a writer it seemed essential to drink coffee daily. Mornings were not mornings without it. Now I tried. First day, the body said: 'What do you mean there is no coffee?' and gave a headache like never before. Second day was a lot better, just more jawns but could be 'cause of the foggy-gloomy weather. Third day, I found out there is 'decaffeinated coffee'. So, now on the 4th day, drinking my emotional support beverage without the drug part. Actually, it was my teacher's suggestion. The taste is different but not bad at all. Basically, thanks to this tiny thing, I can still look like a human to my family and friends. Aye!

'The Black Phone' literally gave me those chills /body - mind- soul/. Just the trailer I saw, and have to tell you all: I am not a fan of horror movies. Yet, Ethan Hawke made me curious. He did something to me during 'Taking Lives' /2004/, and that still lingers around. He freaks me out totally, the way he can transform is pretty amazing. Ethan Hawke is one of those guys I don't want to stuck in any dark and small place with. Sorry not sorry. Telling you, Troy Dyer had it in him.

Meditating on writing a movie about our 30s. Not going to say anything more, because WGA haven't answer yet.

Shed your layers but don't wrap yourselves in new ones! Accept your dark side because that can save you from criticizing others! Faith is always there for the taking, advice for myself also. .)

your cheerful soul,

Kata The Nomad
