What does it truly mean to us in 2021 to have grace and dignity? How do we behave when nobody is watching or how do we act when all is on display? Are they different or are they the same? What does it even have to do with us? Does it only apply to women or men can have it too?
I was wondering today about us, the 2021 Women. Yeah, from my point of view we are not this body but we have to use this body so we better think wise, not twice.
We all just took first steps into an era of a very strange world. On the other hand, it's all the same. Why? Because the inside matters, how we act and react to the things happening in the outside world. And trust me, folks, many things come up daily!
We are spirit souls trapped in this tiny little material world, trying to fix it but seems like we all want it differently. The fun has already begun, so let's unpack all that has happened to us in late 2020!
As much as we all hate to read, speak or hear about it, Covid-19 (and its mutated versions) is still here with us. Not going to encourage it by saying 'stronger than ever' but it is here. Now the fight between groups of people (smart and dumb) is about whether or not to take the vaccine, or which vaccine to take. I am officially so tired of it, yet I would love to find a correct answer on this from someone I can trust. Faith helps a lot but can't put this much pressure on God to save everybody Himself, one by one. Better do all that we can to keep this body healthy and capable of doing our duties.
Women need to take care of themselves even more because we all know we do the job. Yup, each and every serious decision or heavy burden lies upon our tiny shoulders. Not going to write down famous phrases but every Mother, Sister, Wifey, Daughter, Girlfriend knows what I am talking about here. Surviving is not the goal of human life but without survival, there won't be a path to take and learn from.
Grace is not just about how we live our lives but how we treat all the other living beings. Not eating meat is just one of the so many ways to express it. Yet, I would like to say that I am not here to judge anybody nor to 'evangelize' into my faith. But we - women - have to state an example for the others.
Dignity means to me to know what is worth it and what is not. Many women around me settled for less than what or who they deserved because of lack of faith in themselves, abuse, blaming the circumstances, choosing the easy way, giving up too early, trying to fit in, letting others decide for them, etc. Sad, isn't it? Yet, that is never too late to stand up, dust yourselves, and walk tall again with what God has given to you! Tested and true.
Our health matters. Grace and dignity are going to bring it closer to how it should be. We can not be happy if we are not healthy. So I'm asking all of you, my amazing fellow Women out there, to pretty-pretty please take better care of yourselves! This is what should motivate you all in the darkest days or moments of human life.
To make a difference starts with living a meaningful life. You can only help others if you are done helping yourself! Just think about this for a second!
your cheerful girlfriend,
Kata Varga
