I'm Back To Spill Some Tea

Got a few friendly critics over 'being too serious' in my blog posts. Well, of course, this COVID-19 pandemic got me under some 'heavy thinking' cloud but I am still here to rock your boat (and stomach) with big waves of laughter.

To look around yourself and notice the 'funny' things in life is a bonus. There is so much stuff outside! People who talk to themselves loudly about the trivial things (trust me, their number is increasing), the jigsaw puzzle of doggie (well, hopefully) poop on the streets that make you walk home by hopscotch, when you get a worldwide commercial for free (#WonderWoman1984), when companies trying to sell you 'last-minute holiday gifts' for months now, revenge of the old - the over 70 lady in the supermarket who takes your place in the line instantly while dodging you who only changed kickstand, etc.

Hard to resist. Going back to the good old days, the 1980s, man! Those were the real deal! All the adventures and games, crazily great music and movies in all genre! When really big changes happened, when most people were much more honest and raw, when love was just love, when you knew the dark places behind every glamorous road. Life was just much easier back then. We were definitely poor but happy.

Not to mention the 1990s where we started to grow, tried our wings first, talked back to our parents and found out which street style fits us more. We had so many dreams, wanted to change the world, to turn everything around. We all had so much great laughters and Hollywood actors' impersonations (best comedies on VHS tapes!), dramatic arguments, heartbreaking cries and strongly delivered shouts at anyone minding our business. Thought we are faster and smarter than all the others around us. Probably it was true. Part of it.

Faith let us get through all the bullshit and foolishness of humanity. Nature was kind enough to let us get bigger each day. Education proved us wrong but we still kept fighting and going forward. The 2000s got even nastier. What can I say about now?

The key to stay mentally healthy is to laugh daily. No exception! Whatever it is that can make you giggle - just do it! (Not encouraging anybody to do anything out of the line but be creative and do no harm!)

Those people who can make you laugh are the best, hold them close and reach them fast! Really no more time to be isolated in the heart. Spread love means to me - make others laugh!

Your ever well-wisher,

Kata Varga
