The book of books. Bhagavad-gita, as it is. Have to tell you though, for many of us out there, it is not just a book. It has answers if we ask the right questions.
The Vedic philosophy for this human life - or the Vedic Indian way of human life - is simple but requires high thinking. You have to be honest to walk from step1 to step2 and so on. Not as easy as it may sound, trust me, I am in the progress!
Actions speak louder than any words can. When you contact or interact with people you show who you are. This is it - nothing else matters. Differences are everywhere, people seek a community where they can belong. It is very difficult if your mind and ego act for you.
What can one do for a change? What can one do for unity?
Individually we all have to be honest and humble. I think about it like that, as a first step. Nobody likes to be in a place where he or she is not welcomed nor accepted.
Bhagavad-gita tells us about how we are built and what material things move us instead of what should move us - spiritually.
Demigods nature or demons nature? Which one would you choose? It is a real and constant struggle we all suffer until we turn our hearts to God. I am not talking about religion, just love. Pure love for God.
Bhagavad-gita is hard to understand without guidance but when you have a spiritual teacher or master, he or she can tell you the answers and the reasons why you might get stuck at one verse or purport.
It is a must to try to understand and help each other, especially nowadays. Requires a tiny effort but has a huge benefit for all of us. Do it for yourself first, then the taste is going to come for more. As your heart opens - there are going to be no limitations to the need to give it all out. Vedic knowledge and love for God.
Compassion, humility, patience, understanding, honesty, cheerfulness, unity, gratitude. There are many other good qualities we all should build back in ourselves. Let's try to be less selfish! Complain less and try to grow a sense of sacrifice!
Being healthy is to be true. When something goes wrong inside the body also gets sick. Not to mention the mind! The mind is a heavy companion who better be a friend than an enemy. How to train the mind to be our friend? Give it the Bhagavad-gita, as a start!
your ever well-wisher servant,
