Orange Glow and Stop Shark Finning

I am a vegetarian for a very simple reason: I can hear those silent screams, I can see the soul behind the eyes of each and every animal. Yeah, wasn't raised that way, had to experience the pain of the weak and helpless. My mindset has changed and I couldn't bear the fact to take a life for no real reason. I can perfectly live on fruits and veggies, and I am willing to search for meal/menu ideas to spice up my life and stay healthy this way.

Not saying I cut off dairy products totally, and of course, I want to join my friends and family when we all eat together. So I searched for the solution that harms no one, which is affordable for me, not making me the 'weirdo'. It's all about efforts, intentions. You have to put some work into it, yet it is perfectly doable.

Here you go my orange glow smoothie recipe: 1 banana, 1 cup fresh orange, 1/2 cup mango, 1 chopped carrot.

Better when it's not frozen, doesn't even need to put cold stuff in it!

Enjoy human life but take care of those who need your patience and support! We are all souls, this body is our vehicle. Better keep an eye for the inner things! This heatwave is a killer so try not to make it worse for others around you! God bless.

Light Comedy and Hard Laughter

These times are those times. Yes, start to watch some light comedy which makes you laugh hard instead of anything else! Trust me, you won't regret it! May I recommend any movies? Here we go: (don't expect me to be impartial):

. anything from Melissa McCarthy is essential to survive this pandemic;

. old school favorite Robin Williams can ease my mind anytime;

. blame me but I can re-watch 'Sister Act' (1992) a hundred times;

. just like 'Beverly Hills Cop' (1984) from my birth year;

. Simon Pegg in 'HOT FUZZ' (2007) is crazily funny and boldly satiric;

. almost anything from Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller will do;

. Will Ferrell's 'Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga' movie made me laugh until crying;

. old school Jim Carrey and Bill Murray ones can do the trick;

. 'School of Rock' (2003) from Jack Black;

. 'Tais Toi' (2003) with huge oldtimer crush Jean Reno and cute Gérard Depardieu;

. hopefully not surprising to you: Mark Wahlberg can be so hysterically funny like in 'Daddy's Home 1-2' or '2Guns';

. 'Thor: Ragnarok' (2017) also made me laugh a solid couple of times;

I guess this is it for now.

Try to support each other and make fun of yourselves even! Don't take life too seriously! Each moment is once in this human life. Karma, reincarnation, samsara. Better not wait for the next run! Try to make the best out of the rest!

Footsteps and Cantaloupe

Stephen King did his best (I'm sure not only for me) with writing 'The Outsider'. I've just finished reading it. God, I so wished for it to be something at the ending to keep it going. I read it in English (Hungarian is my mother tongue)and it was one hell of a great ride, getting back to the language as fluent as I used to be. I need to have more confidence in my skills. The Master and I, both September kids. I believe in the signs. I read most of his books in my own language but this experience was way better! One can surely learn from him. The catchy phrases, the flow of the story, the detailed picture of the country/the city/the street/the room/the characters. I need to improve with that. Always ready to develop new capabilities.

The last days of June, still freaking unbelievable. Summer has just begun. Yet my awful struggles are hopefully gone for good from July, as I was told by my Vedic astrologer. Having complete faith in God's plan, free will, and the strong winds of fortune for me. I've always had been the kind of person who jumps into the opportunities and new possibilities before thinking it a hundred times over. Now I'm just a tiny bit wiser but with the same huge amount of enthusiasm for life. More likely I'm the crispy fried onion on a vegan chorizo hot dog.

Budapest is my birth town so don't get surprised if I show up! Yet Lake Balaton is where I've spent all my summers from early childhood up to the present one. Restless, never letting the grass grow under my feet. Yet I can imagine being on my porch just watching life go by and preparing hot coffee for Death when the time comes. Life is much harder than death, I believe. So never had fear of it, was ready to welcome it anytime. Lived more than most, that inner feeling tells me the best is yet to come, though.

Have a sunny day!

Hansel and Gretel meet at the Roman Riverbank

Wednesday has the heat button pushed. I highly recommend you all to bring water with yourselves because dehydration is at its maximum. Better to be near some river or lake, sea or ocean these days, summer truly is trying us all. Today I choose the Hungarian River Danube and its calm riverside 'beach' (about 5 km long in the 3rd district).

Friends are the 'safety zones' in this whole pandemic life. Masks and sanitizers, distance and less loud laughters. I miss the 'LMAO' era. Where did the fun go? Why do most of you hide your talent in humor? Let's be much more easy-going on life, okay? Live for now!

Have you ever got splashed by a passing car and laughed out loud? Have you ever had your 'Bridget Jones' moment with the feeling sexy, yet not being so? Have you ever complimented another woman just to both feel better?

Can't help myself but to gush about Avril's 'Sk8er Boi' and her TikTok debut. I love her songs and can't wait to listen to the newest ones! Special voice, special gal.

Take care of yourselves, don't act funny in this extreme heat outside! Exception can be only a walk in the shadows by some water! Drink, catch the breeze, breathe slowly in and out! Chill!

Back to Budapest

Enjoyed the Goat Cheese Weekend in Budapest City, now I have my Monday duties to fulfill here. After several weeks in the Lake Balaton area, back again is strange a bit but also has a few advantages. Like applying for new kinds of jobs and meeting my good old buddies. Back to see the places I grew up around. Looking for inspiration and motivation as always.

The heat is hard to bear, never been a person of the summer urban jungle. I prefer the cool breeze and the water nearby. Mountains or hills, countryside or small town, lake or sea, animals and nature.

Social Media is an important platform if you use it for what it's worth. I don't know about you all out there but I am officially so tired of the celebrity news. I want to see and hear what matters like healthy lifestyle hacks, how to help Mother Nature get back into Her shape, where and what kind of assistance others need to grow and develop with their lives. Unity. Peace. Health. Fun. Laughter.

'Thelma & Louise' aren't we all? Running from everything too painful or too casual. Have you ever walked barefoot on the morning grass? Have you ever sang out of pure joy when it was totally inappropriate? Have you ever said something you wished you could just take back? Human life is full of these things and we have to manage to move forward amongst them. Always.

I've just heard the phrase 'the pandemic era' and it hit me like a hammer. We are in this, every day is another challenge to go through maintaining our precious sanity. Successful or not. Yet, I have high hopes of everything turning into something better. Sounds naive? Perhaps, but all my words and actions are moving me towards that.

Beauty and the Beast with a Mango and some Macaron

A Tuesday full of wonders, it is. There is real beauty in every person, yet the mind-beast does not allow us to see her all the time. When we are kind - we must rewind. When we act mean - we can't lean. Got it? Good. Then act like it!

What is your most interesting-amusing tale to tell? I hope you all have more than one. Human life is full of fun, so we have to remember that in whatever situations we put ourselves in, or however hard fate tries to slap or smooch us.

A short paragraph is what you all deserve tonight for not reading regularly. To speak well - it is a must.

What would you eat if these two were offered to you as the last bite: a mango or a macaron? *looking off into the distance, big sigh*

Well, a mango-flavored macaron.

How do you give back to the community you feel gratitude towards? Where is the limit to sacrifice time and energy as a volunteer for any cause dear to your heart and soul? Is there any limit to that? Should there be? I think so. WE are all just human beings with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with so many duties and people to take care of. Each and every one of us should have a ranking, a priority list. I highly recommend it.

Who is your favorite person in the world? Can you pick one or there has to be at least a few? I have most of my favorite people on my Instagram, I enjoy seeing them happy, making fun, anything they share brings pure joy to me, especially if it is for something more than sense gratification. I like it when even their radiant smile has a message or a meaning. When they speak up or stand by something globally important. Remember, we are Groot.

Water Snake and Screenwriting

Nerodia sipedon - how cute that sounds? I like my harmless, non-venomous snake friends. There is quite a number of them out here at the lake house. To them, it's equal whether I mantra-meditate, read, write, surf, or swim - my water snake buddies come near and say hi. I am lucky because I grew up catching and releasing them, playing with them so I am not afraid of them as an adult. I love any kind of life and I am an official protector of any kind of wildlife too.

Editing one of my oldest scripts these days, it's been like 5 years since I've been constantly changing this story. Now I have a strong feeling this is it! I got the right flow and going with it! The dialogues are just popping out of my head, the scenes are getting done, it's all going very well and I am grateful. I have worked so hard with this script and I want the audience to enjoy it and learn from it. I am ready to show it to the world, better late than never!

Life can be a bitch sometimes, but every fall is just a new beginning if you have faith. To me, this was never a question. I am walking my path with the guidance of God. Not religion, just faith. I am open-minded and easy-going, I love to learn new things and make new friends. Yet, I am old-fashioned in romance and unwavering in protecting the weaker like animals, women, old people, and kids.

I'm always looking forward to the next adventure. Let's see what this human life of mine can bring to the table! Aye, me buckos!

your cheerful friend,

Kata

The Lion is Back to Equalize

What is vengeance? What do you know about acting with vengeance?

The driving force of a human being can be so many, one can hardly count them. Yet, acting with vengeance can be put in the mode of goodness. The goal, the intention, the sacrifice matter. Who you do it for. Who do you act for. Not doing it for yourself but for others. We are all going to die alone, and if faith is missing then what's the point?

This world is not a happy place but we came down to rumble and enjoy it anyway. Envy of God was the trigger and now here we are, pain and pleasure go hand-in-hand. Time is limited, we get the many signs, yet we laugh in the face of death like we are the untouchables.

Note to self: we are not. Trouble and harm can easily find us. Karma indeed is a bitch. What can we do about it? Try to worry less! The shaft is about to happen anyway. How you react that's where your character lies. Rebirth is a wonder which can happen more often than what you were prepared for. Embrace it! You are not lost until it is coming back to you.

Human life is a gift we all should use well. We were born for a reason and the most important is to find what reason before the light runs out. Nobody knows where or when, yet keeps on repeating forever.

Stop the circle of anger and sorrow! Be the purifying fire you were born to be! Real power starts with accepting who you have become. Being alive means knowing that. The path is there for the taking.
